System of care communities are often challenged with developing and implementing a family-driven array of services and supports. The National Family Support Network offers the Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support, a framework with the vision is implementation will help ensure that families are supported and strengthened through quality practice. It was designed to be used by all stakeholders-public departments, foundations, community-based organizations, and parents-across different kinds of Family Strengthening and Family Support programs as a tool for planning, providing, and assessing quality practice. Learn how family leaders and family-run organizations can use the Standards to bring communities together for implementation of quality family support practices.

October’s Learning Community highlighted key issues families should consider when determining when to share their story, what to share, how much to share, and whether the story is the family or the youth’s to share.

Who do these grants target and what can the funds be used for? How Mental Health Planning Councils connect to MHBGs and how are they different from Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grants (SABG)?
