The "National Survey" was developed through a collaboration between the Pathways Research and Training Center at Portland State University and FREDLA, the Family-Run Executive Director Leadership Association.

The information you provide will help youth- and family-run organizations, policy makers and service planners better understand and respond to the needs and preferences of young adults with behavioral health needs and their families.

SEEKING SURVEY PARTICIPANTS

We are seeking survey participants who are:

  1. Family members/other allies (family member, parent or friend) who provided support to young adults with behavioral health challenges during their transition years; OR
  2. Young adults who are currently at least 18 years old  who experienced behavioral health challenges during their transition years and receive or have received support from a family member or other ally.

PLEASE HELP US RECRUIT RESPONDENTS! ENCOURAGE YOUNG ADULTS WITH BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NEEDS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS OR OTHER ALLIES TO TAKE THIS SURVEY.

We need your help to make sure family members, allies and young adults know about this national survey and have the opportunity to participate. The information being gathered will be invaluable to understanding how family members and allies support young adults during the transition years and how services, systems and providers can best support young adults with behavioral health needs and their families.

To help, you can download a copy of the recruitment flyer below to share with family members, allies and young adults or you can share a link to this page in your newsletters, publications or communications to your networks.
